Class Offerings
Mommy and Me
(Toddlers 18 mos.-2½ yrs. accompanied by an adult)
Fridays from 9:45-11:15 a.m.
Description: Social interaction with teacher and other children, simple creative crafts, active gym activities, music, stories, and songs, guided activities provide quality time for child and adult
2½ Year Olds - 2 Day Program
(Must be two by April 1st / Aug 1 for Jan. start date)
Mondays and Wednesdays 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Description: Socialization with teachers and children, learning about seasons and holidays, learning self-reliance, introduction to age-appropriate art activities, fingerplays, stories and songs, physical play on age-appropriate equipment
3 Year Olds - 2 Day Program
Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00-11:30 a.m.
3 Year Olds - 3 Day Program, 5 Day Available
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Description: Learning about “self”, participation in group discussions, name recognition, following directions, encouraging cooperative play by sharing and taking turns, learning colors and shapes, working with numbers 1 to 10; try to write 1 to 5, learning to cut with scissors, circle time, exploring hands-on manipulatives, art and movement activities
4 Year Olds - 4 Day Program
Monday through Thursday 9:00-11:30 a.m.
4 Year Olds - 5 Day Program
Monday through Friday 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Bridge-a-garten
Monday through Friday 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Description: Exploring further the concept of “me”, learning to make good choices, preparation for Kindergarten, learning the letters of the alphabet (one letter per week) upper and lower case, learning to print first name, Math concepts, counting, sorting, patterning, classifying and printing of numbers, informal pre-kindergarten testing, following directions, participating in age-appropriate creative arts and physical activities, dramatic arts exploration
Enrichment Program
Monday through Thursday 11:30—1:30 pm
Description: Extending and enriching school curriculum, introducing and exploring world cultural diversity, introducing an age-appropriate concept of community service, team building projects to foster working as a group, explore a variety of topics outside the regular curriculum.
Lunch Bunch
Join your friends for lunch after morning classes or before your afternoon class. This program runs from 11:30-12:30 pm daily for 3,4, and 5 year olds. Sign up in advance or each day. The children eat lunch together and then enjoy extra playtime in the playground, community room or classroom.
